2016 has been an outstanding year. I took my coaching certification exam, founded my enterprise, started this blog (and writing is still hard.. but fun).

I began my psychotherapy internship and met an old friend from school I haven´t seen in ages (hi, christoph!). Did this and that, been here and there – and what I really did learn this year is that my life is work in progress. Maybe that´s what it´s all about. Keep going, keep learning, breathe, evolve. Living means learning – not like studying for an exam, but more like keeping your senses in touch with your environment, questioning yourself (a bit, not too seriously after all) and listening to your thoughts.
So what does this imply for me? Regarding my internship as well as my coaching efforts this means that I have to stay close to my client, listening to everything that´s said. Notice little signs – at least I try to (and that´s what I think to be most important in client based work). You don´t need to agree with clients opinions or actions, but you need to BE here and stay in touch. And if you do, at least you´ll have the chance to learn and gain experience. Learn in (and from) the moment – and while you do, observe yourself. Is this what´s called mindfulness? Or the Jedi way? Maybe both. 🙂

So one year from now I hope I´ve gained more experience points, levelled up a bit and discovered some more unknown territory. So keep fishin´ in 2017 (and thanks for this song, weezer)!
